Terms of Service
The terms for using Reflectiv.
Effective September 24, 2026 · Source Labs LLC
These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of the Reflectiv desktop application, reflectiv.to, and related services we provide, including our hosted connection and authentication services (together, Reflectiv). Reflectiv is operated by Source Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in Virginia, United States (we, us, or our).
By accepting these Terms or installing or using Reflectiv after being presented with these Terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Reflectiv. If you use Reflectiv for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization. These Terms include the end-user software license below and replace the Terms of use previously published at /eula.
1. Eligibility and access
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. You may use Reflectiv only where doing so is lawful. Some features may require an invitation, a supported device, an internet connection, an account, or access to a third-party service. Availability varies by version and offering; these Terms do not promise that any particular account, subscription, or hosted feature is currently available.
Where an account is required, provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for use you authorize through your account and for securing your device, API keys, and connected services.
2. Software license
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Reflectiv for your personal or internal business purposes. We and our licensors retain ownership of Reflectiv, its branding, and its software. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute our proprietary software without permission, remove ownership notices, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits. Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their own licenses; these Terms do not restrict rights those licenses grant.
3. Your content and AI output
You retain your rights in messages, documents, files, bot instructions, and other material you supply (Your Content). You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that content and allow its processing, including information obtained from connected accounts or about other people.
You authorize us and the service providers involved in the features you request to process, transmit, and store Your Content as necessary to provide those features, maintain their security, and provide support you request. This permission does not transfer ownership of Your Content or authorize its use for unrelated advertising. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
As between you and Source Labs LLC, we claim no ownership of output generated for you. To the extent we hold transferable rights in that output, we assign them to you. This does not override third-party rights or applicable provider terms, or guarantee that output is copyrightable, exclusive, or free of infringement. Other users may receive similar output.
4. AI limitations and your review
AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or misleading information and can misunderstand instructions. Check important output, sources, and proposed actions before relying on them or sharing them. Reflectiv does not provide professional legal, medical, tax, financial, or other licensed advice, and is not designed for emergency or safety-critical use.
Bots and agent features can interact with files and connected services. Review the target, recipients, content, permissions, and potential costs before authorizing an action. Approval controls reduce risk but cannot identify every consequence. An error or timeout does not necessarily mean an external action failed; verify the result before retrying. You remain responsible for the decisions you make and actions you authorize, subject to rights and responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
5. Connections, API keys, and included AI access
Depending on the offering, Reflectiv may use your own AI-provider account or API key, access provided through Reflectiv, or a combination. Applicable access requirements and usage allowances will be disclosed for the feature or plan you choose. You do not obtain a right to unlimited AI usage merely by installing the app or accepting these Terms.
When you connect a service, you authorize Reflectiv to access and process information and perform operations within the permissions you grant and features you request. Connecting an account is not blanket permission for every possible external action. You must be authorized to connect the account and comply with that provider’s terms. Third-party providers control their own services, availability, policies, and charges.
You are responsible for charges incurred through your own provider accounts. Included access, if offered, is subject to its disclosed limits. Disconnecting an integration in Reflectiv may not revoke all provider-side permissions or cancel a provider subscription; manage those separately with the provider. Do not put passwords, API keys, or other credentials in chat messages.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Reflectiv to:
- Violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property, or violate privacy or other rights.
- Access accounts, systems, or data without authorization, or bypass security, approval controls, or usage limits.
- Distribute malware, conduct fraud, impersonate others deceptively, or send unlawful spam.
- Harass or exploit others, or create, obtain, or distribute child sexual abuse material.
- Disrupt Reflectiv or connected services, or misuse credentials or infrastructure provided for your access.
Do not provide information you are prohibited from sharing with the providers involved in your chosen features. Before using regulated or highly sensitive data, determine whether the relevant services and agreements are suitable; these Terms do not establish a business associate agreement or promise compliance with a particular industry-specific regime.
7. Fees, subscriptions, and cancellation
Any paid offering will state its price, billing frequency, usage limits, applicable taxes, and cancellation and refund terms before you purchase. These Terms alone do not enroll you in a paid plan or authorize a charge. We will obtain the consent required for recurring charges and will not convert free access to paid access without the required notice and consent.
If you choose an automatically renewing subscription, its renewal terms and an accessible cancellation method will be provided at signup and in your purchase acknowledgment. Cancellation stops future renewals; the disclosed purchase terms explain remaining access and any refund rights. Mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, and refund rights always apply. If you cannot access the cancellation method, contact us for assistance. Changes to recurring prices will be communicated before they take effect, with any notice or consent required by law.
8. Local data and privacy
Reflectiv stores desktop workspace data locally, but AI requests, integrations, cloud processing, and hosted features may transmit data off your device. Local storage does not mean all processing is offline. Our Privacy Policy describes current practices; new hosted offerings may require additional disclosures before use.
Keep appropriate backups. Uninstalling the application may leave local files and backups, and does not necessarily delete copies held by connected providers. Deleting local content does not undo actions already completed in an external service. Contact us if you need help removing app data.
9. Early access, updates, and availability
Reflectiv is an early-access product. Features may have defects, change, or be discontinued. We may release updates for functionality, compatibility, or security. Some features depend on your installed version and on external services. Locally executed scheduled tasks require Reflectiv to be running and your device to be available; do not assume a task runs while your Mac is asleep or the application is closed unless the feature explicitly says otherwise.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or preservation of every feature. Changes or discontinuation of paid services remain subject to applicable purchase terms and any notice, refund, or other rights required by law.
10. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using Reflectiv at any time and cancel any subscription through its cancellation process. We may restrict hosted access or terminate your license for a material violation of these Terms, a security threat, unlawful use, or a legal requirement. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to address a remediable violation.
If your license ends, stop using the software. Disconnect or revoke integrations as appropriate. Ending use does not erase previously incurred charges, remove copies of data held elsewhere, or undo completed actions. Provisions concerning ownership, accrued payment obligations, disclaimers, liability, and disputes continue to apply where relevant after termination.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Reflectiv is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant error-free output, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with every device or third-party service.
To the extent permitted by law, Source Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, business opportunities, or data arising from your use of Reflectiv. This exclusion does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or remedies that apply to you.
12. Governing law and disputes
Virginia law governs these Terms, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, except that mandatory protections under the laws applicable to you remain in effect. Please contact us first if a problem arises so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us is not a prerequisite to exercising a legal right and does not extend a legal filing deadline. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive participation in a class action, or restrict a right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.
13. Changes and other terms
We may update these Terms and will publish the revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the product, website, or available contact details, except where an urgent legal or security reason requires earlier action. Changes apply prospectively. Where law requires affirmative acceptance, we will request it; otherwise, continued use after the effective date and notice indicates acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the affected services and cancel any applicable subscription, without losing rights required by law.
These Terms and any applicable purchase terms or separate signed agreement govern our relationship concerning Reflectiv. A separate signed agreement controls where it expressly conflicts; specific purchase terms control their subject matter. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
